- Visitportal
- Choose domestic or overseas application.
- Register the company account through the MYeHALAL system using SSM number.
- Confirmation of company's account ID and password will be given via e-mail within 24 hours.
- The Company shall read and download the Halal certification procedures Manual.

Applicants need to contact the ICT Section, BPH by giving the Company Registration Number for follow-up actions.

THE COMBINED APPLICATION
-
The criteria that qualify for the merger application are:
- Category of application can be combined:
- Renewal and renewal.
- Renewal and add product/menu/outlet.
- Shall be the same scheme.
- The expiry period of all Malaysian Halal certification certificates (SPHM) to be combined do not exceed 6 months.
- Application documents must be submitted together with the accompanying letter explaining that the situation of the application includes the summary of the product/menu and ingredient material application is incorporated in the earliest application will expire.
- The applicant must select the ' new ' category.
- The date of the halal certificate for the application which was merged depends on the date of approval of the application.

Alcohol use (ethanol) is permitted in ingredient materials provided –
- Alcohol is not derived from the alcohol making process.
- The percentage of alcohol allowed for lightweight drinks made not for the purpose of liquor is under level 1% v/v
- Food/beverage containing flavoring/coloring materials containing alcohol for the purpose of stabilization and end products is not intoxicating liquor and alcohol rate not exceeding 0.5%.

Menu names that are synonymous with non-halal menus and/or names that have a negative impact or have other religious elements.

PHARMACEUTICALS/COSMETICS

- Manufacturing licence from DCA (for pharmaceuticals).

Applicants from Klang Valley need to go to the Halal Management Division at Level 6 Block D, Kompleks Islam Putrajaya. For the outside applicants of Klang Valley, Halal Management Division, JAKIM will post on a PosLaju.

The SPHM holder is allowed to amend the product name as long as it does not involve the change in ingredients

Applicants need to submit an official letter by stating the supplier/manufacturer involved with the supporting doctor such as a copy of the Halal certificate/MSDS/COA/product specifications and others.

Maximum limit of change/increase in supplier/ingredient manufacturer is 10 material only.

The applicant must update the change/increase of the supplier/manufacturer of the ingredient in Masterlist ingredient materials and applicants should also update on each product during the renewal application process.

REPRINT CERTIFICATE

The charge rate is RM50 per certificate.

Payment must be in the form of bank draft/postal order in the name of Director General of JAKIM.

- Original certificate to be made of amendment.
- Copy of charge letter.

PACKING CHANGES

The SPHM holder should make a police report and submit an official letter together with a copy of the police report to the Certificate Section, Halal Management Division JAKIM.
